GCU has three core programatic themes directly being implemented that includes Health, Education, Youth and Women Economic empowerment.
Growth Care Uganda has a medical facility located in Bala subcounty Kole District constructed with support from Child Outreach Ministry.
Our aim is to remove barriers to education and promote the academic success of disadvantaged children by empowering them with the tools and resources they need to break the cycle of poverty, realize their full potential.
Our Youth Economic Empowerment initiative focuses on providing comprehensive skills training in various trade skills to enhance employability and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Growth Care Uganda (GCU) is an organization registered in the republic of Uganda as a non-profit, non-commercial & non-government, it started as a small Community based organization operating in one sub county of Agali in Lira District but now operating Northern Uganda as a National NGO. It was started with shared passion by a group of Christian brothers in 2012 who desired to rescue, restore, and reintegrate children affected by malnutrition and girls affected by injustice and negative social norms in the post-war northern Uganda. From the onset, it started operating with the name called Child Rescue ministry but later in 2020 rebranded her name to Growth Care Uganda
